Free Videos For Your Home Page and Projects

I recently ran into some really nice websites with some great videos that can be used as a background video for your projects and home pages of your clients. The good thing is this stuff is totally free. For some of the websites listed below you will have to register, but again, the stuff is (at the time of this blog post) absolutely free and there is some really cool stuff on these sites. So I’d say, go check it out!

Free Videos from Coverr

The first website which has some really cool (and high quality) videos is Coverr.co. Coverr releases 7 new videos every Monday. You will find videos in the following categories: Food, Mood, Nature, Tech, Artsy, People, Urban and Animals. You can check it all out by clicking the link above. Make sure you click “see it as a cover” after you selected a video. It shows you immediately how it will look like on a home page.

Pexels Videos

Pexels is one of those sites that you can keep scrolling. It has numerous categories to choose from and some really cool videos. Overall I like the Coverr videos better, but if you can’t find anything you like on Pexels, rumour has it you’re not going to find it at all! 🙂

Videvo Stock Footage

Videvo has some nice stuff, but most of their videos are very short. That’s why I advise you to check out their free stock footage section, which has some videos with a decent length. You have to register for Videvo as well. Overall, the quality of Videvo is a bit lower than the above two websites, but still, you can find some decent stuff.

Home Made Stuff 🙂

Last but not least, I made some videos myself as well in 2014. An example below. You can see the whole series here.
